Bottom-rankedNEXTGEN (0-29) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 29th consecutive match to ninth ranked Lucenec (11-21) 107-83 . Lucenec dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to NEXTGEN 's 40 and made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Alfred Hollins (198-1999, college: UTEP) who led the winners and scored 41 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!). His fellow American import forward Eric Boone (188-1999, college: NCCU) accounted for 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Hollins is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Lucenec players scored in double figures. Robert Hudec (191-2005) came up with 25 points and swingman Martin Minarovjech (201-2007) added 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for NEXTGEN in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lucenec maintains ninth place with 11-21 record. NEXTGEN lost their twenty ninth game in a row. They still close the standings.
