Regular Season Round 31: Blue Wings - Levice 83-81

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-rankedLevice (25-7) in Nitra on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by fourth ranked Blue Wings (19-12) 83-81 . It was a great evening for American guard Kobe Langley (185-2000, college: UNCG) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 assists. Ukrainian swingman Olexandr Belikov (202-1992) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. Blue Wings' coach Krunoslav Krajnovic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American forward Karl Gamble II (206-1996, college: MTSU, agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Tony Hicks (189-1994, college: Louisville) scored 15 points and 7 assists. Five Levice players scored in double figures. Blue Wings have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Newly promoted Blue Wings maintains fourth place with 19-12 record. Defending champion Levice still keeps top position with seven games lost.
