Regular Season Round 36: NEXTGEN - Handlova 72-79

Very expected game when bottom-rankedNEXTGEN (0-36) lost to third ranked Handlova (24-12) in Nitra 72-79 on Saturday. The winners were led by American guard Djimon Henson (193-1998, college: Morehead St.) who scored that evening 27 points and American-Puerto Rican swingman Jordan Glover (198-1996, college: TCNJ) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Worth to mention Glover played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Even 17 points by point guard Bruno Randuska (191-2008) did not help to save the game for NEXTGEN . Guard Richard Ondrus (188-2006) added 13 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Handlova maintains third position with 24-12 record having four points less than leader Levice. Loser NEXTGEN still closes the standings.
