The most exciting game of round 6 in the 1 Liga took place in Ziar nad Hronom. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of bottom-rankedZiar/Hronom U23 (0-3) to fourth ranked Iskra U23 (3-1) 89-88 on Sunday evening. Julius Matusek scored 28 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Lukas Jendrichovsky chipped in 25 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Iskra U23 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Samuel Horvath (187-2001) with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and Samuel Solcansky scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Iskra U23 moved-up to second place, which they share with Komarno B. Ziar/Hronom U23 at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost.
