Regular Season Round 7: Zilina - Inter SB 81-84

The most exciting game of round 7 in the 1 Liga took place in Zilina. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th rankedZilina (2-3) to leader Inter SB (6-0) 84-81 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zilina. Robert Hudec (191-2005) fired 22 points for the winners. Maros Golian chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Inter SB's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international Jakub Meress (200-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds and Simon Duris added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Inter SB have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Zilina at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost.
