Levice (11-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Komarno (5-6) 92-88 . It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Levice. Komarno looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican-American point guard Corey McKeithan (183-2001, college: La Salle) who scored 25 points and 6 assists. American forward Aaron Gray (201, college: Indiana St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Andre Wesson (198-1997, college: Ohio St., agency: Players Group) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Will Carius (205-1998, college: W.Illinois) added 21 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Komarno moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Handlova. Defending champion Levice still keeps top position with one game lost.
