Regular Season Round 9: Slavia - Komarno B 75-68

The most shocking disappointment of round 9 in the 1 Liga was a road defeat of 5th ranked Komarno B (3-3) to eighth ranked Slavia (1-5) 75-68. Slavia dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Komarno B's 24. They outrebounded Komarno B 54-42 including 40 on the defensive glass. Slavia looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Robert Seman stepped up and scored 28 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Alex Nagy chipped in 15 points and 16 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Martin Koller (186-2004) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists and point guard Daniel Chaban (184-2002) scored 23 points. Slavia maintains eighth place with 1-5 record. Komarno B at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. Slavia are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Ziar/Hronom U23 (#9) in Ziar nad Hronom in the next round. Komarno B will have a break next round.
