LeaderLevice delivered the thirteenth victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Handlova (7-7) 98-77 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Handlova. Levice made 29-of-36 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game, while Handlova only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Handlova was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Will Carius (205-1998, college: W.Illinois) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Rickey McGill (188-1997, college: Iona) contributed with 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. Levice's coach Michal Madzin felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Djimon Henson (193-1998, college: Morehead St.) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Jakub Petras (209-1994, college: Stony Brook, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points in the effort for Handlova. Four Handlova players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-1 record. Handlova at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Komarno.
