Very important is a home loss of third rankedSlovan (10-8) against fifth ranked Komarno (10-8) on Tuesday night. Host Slovan was defeated by Komarno in Bratislava 87-71 . Elijah Ormiston notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Puerto Rican-American point guard Corey McKeithan (183-2001, college: La Salle) supported him with 19 points. Even a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds by the former international center Tomas Pavelka (217-2000) did not help to save the game for Slovan . Canadian Shamiel Stevenson (198-1998, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Komarno moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Slovan.
