Regular Season Round 18: Iskra Svit - Blue Wings 101-98

The most exciting game of round 18 in the Tipos SBL took place in Svit. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-bestBlue Wings (13-5) to ninth ranked Iskra Svit (6-12) 101-98 on Wednesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Blue Wings. Iskra Svit looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 30 personal fouls committed by Blue Wings helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American forward Sevon Witt (203-1999, college: Austin Peay, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard JaSean Jackson (183, college: Lamar, agency: Players Group) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 assists for the winners. American point guard Jordan Jones (183, college: CCSU) replied with 29 points and 7 assists and Ukrainian swingman Olexandr Belikov (202-1992) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Blue Wings. Five Iskra Svit and four Blue Wings players scored in double figures. Blue Wings' coach Martin Blaho rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Iskra Svit moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Spisski Rytieri. Blue Wings at the other side keep the second position with five games lost.
