Regular Season Round 18: Handlova - Lucenec 90-94

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th rankedHandlova (8-10) lost at home to seventh ranked Lucenec (8-10) 94-90 on Wednesday. Lucenec made 33-of-33 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. American forward Eric Boone (188-1999, college: NCCU) notched 34 points (!!!), 6 assists and 4 steals (went 18 for 18 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and the other American import center Tervell Beck (201-1996, college: Kent St.) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Even a double-double of 21 points and 12 assists by American guard Jordan Harris (185-1999, college: GVSU) did not help to save the game for Handlova . The former international forward Jakub Petras (209-1994, college: Stony Brook, agency: Octagon Europe) added 20 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Handlova's coach Nenad Milosevic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lucenec moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Handlova. Handlova lost third consecutive game.
