We should mention about the upset which took place in Ziar nad Hronom, where 6th rankedKomarno B (3-6) lost to ninth ranked Ziar/Hronom U23 (2-6) in a road game 80-86 on Sunday. Ziar/Hronom U23 outrebounded Komarno B 46-30 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Alan Magerciak stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Samuel Solcansky (198-2004) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Ziar/Hronom U23 players scored in double figures. Ziar/Hronom U23's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Daniel Chaban (184-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 assists and guard Samuel Bolf (184-2004) scored 24 points. Ziar/Hronom U23 moved-up to seventh place. Komarno B lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with six games lost.
