Top rankedLevice (19-2) recorded its second loss on the court of seventh ranked Handlova on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Handlova 82-71 . It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Levice. Handlova made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Peter Kovacik (190-2005) who scored 21 points. American guard Jordan Harris (185-1999, college: GVSU) chipped in 23 points. Handlova's coach Nenad Milosevic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Rickey McGill (188-1997, college: Iona) produced 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import swingman Gabe Dorsey (198, college: William & Mary) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Handlova maintains seventh place with 9-14 record, which they share with Iskra Svit. Defending champion Levice still keeps top position with two games lost.
