Regular Season Round 24: Levice - Blue Wings 98-72

An interesting game forLevice (20-2) which hosted in Levice second-best Blue Wings (16-8). First ranked Levice had an easy win 98-72 . Levice shot 64.3 percent from the field. They also forced 21 Blue Wings turnovers. Strangely Blue Wings outrebounded Levice 36-20 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Levice shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Rickey McGill (188-1997, college: Iona) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists and South Sudanese-Australian forward Akol Mawein (206-2000, college: Sacramento St.) who added 19 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) during the contest. Four Levice players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Jordan Jones (183, college: CCSU) with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Tristan Ikpe (198-1999, college: SHSU) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-2 record. Blue Wings at the other side keep the second place with eight games lost.
