Another exciting game was between eighth rankedHandlova and higher ranked Komarno where host Handlova (10-16) won against Komarno (14-11) 84-80 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Komarno. Handlova made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Komarno was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American Jeremy McLaughlin (203-1995, college: Catawba) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import guard Djimon Henson (193-1998, college: Morehead St.) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. American forward Aaron Gray (201, college: Indiana St.) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and international swingman Samuel Volarik (194-2000) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Komarno. Four Handlova and five Komarno players scored in double figures. Komarno's coach Djordje Ilic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Handlova maintains eighth position with 10-16 record. Komarno at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Slovan.
