Regular Season Round 15: Iskra U23 - Ziar/Hronom U23 83-76

Very predictable result in Svit where second ranked Iskra U23 (10-2) defeated 7th ranked Ziar/Hronom U23 (2-8) 83-76. Iskra U23 outrebounded Ziar/Hronom U23 52-34 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for power forward David Harabin (207-2002) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds. Forward Julius Matusek (200-2005) accounted for 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Alan Magerciak came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Marek Foltin (184-2002) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Ziar/Hronom U23 in the defeat. Four Ziar/Hronom U23 players scored in double figures. Iskra U23 maintains second place with 10-2 record having just two point less than leader Inter SB. Ziar/Hronom U23 at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Iskra U23 will play against Levoca (#4) on the road in the next round. Ziar/Hronom U23 will play against Blue Wings 2 and hopes to get back on the winning track.
