Very important is a road loss of second rankedBlue Wings (20-9) against fourth ranked Slovan (17-12) on Thursday night. Visiting Blue Wings were crushed by Slovan in Bratislava 85-65 . The winners were led by Serbian guard Stefan Pot (195-1994) who scored that evening 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American point guard Christian James (194-1996, college: Oklahoma) supported him with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Four Slovan players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 6 assists by American power forward Brandon Horvath (208-1999, college: Utah St.) did not help to save the game for Blue Wings . His fellow American import guard Ken Evans Jr. (196, college: FAU) added 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Blue Wings' coach Martin Blaho rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Slovan have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 17-12 record. Blue Wings at the other side keep the second place with nine games lost.
