Eighth-rankedHandlova (10-18) gave a tough game to second ranked Blue Wings (20-9) in Nitra on Saturday. Blue Wings managed to secure only one-point victory 79-78 . However their fans expected much easier game. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Brandon Horvath (208-1999, college: Utah St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Jordan Jones (183, college: CCSU) who added 23 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Blue Wings' coach Martin Blaho used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side point guard C.J. Jackson (185-1996, college: Ohio St., agency: Blacktop Management) responded with 18 points and 5 assists and Jeremy McLaughlin (203-1995, college: Catawba) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Blue Wings maintains second position with 20-9 record having two points less than leader Levice. Handlova at the other side keeps the eighth place with 18 games lost.
