There was a small surprise when seventh rankedLucenec (13-16) crushed at home 5th ranked Komarno (16-13) 99-70 on Saturday. Lucenec made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game, while Komarno only scored seven points from the stripe. American forward Jalil Beaubrun (206-2002, college: App State, agency: JCK Sports Group) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Kittitian-American swingman Shaun Willett (193-1996, college: Queens, NC) supported him with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Four Lucenec players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by international swingman Samuel Volarik (194-2000) did not help to save the game for Komarno . American guard Carrington Wiggins (185-2000, college: MSUB) added 20 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lucenec moved-up to sixth place. Loser Komarno keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost.
