Very expected game when 8th rankedSpisski Rytieri (10-19) lost to fourth ranked Slovan (18-12) in Nova Ves 88-98 on Saturday. American point guard Lester Medford Jr (184-1993, college: Baylor, agency: BIG) notched 24 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and Serbian guard Stefan Pot (195-1994) supported him with 16 points and 7 assists. Even 25 points (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) by American point guard Isaiah Hill (183-2000, college: Fresno St.) did not help to save the game for Spisski Rytieri . Juraj Palenik (200-2000) added 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Slovan have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Spisski Rytieri keeps the eighth position with 19 games lost.
