There was a small surprise in Ziar nad Hronom where seventh rankedZiar/Hronom U23 (5-10) defeated 5th ranked Zilina (8-7) 97-79 on Sunday. Ziar/Hronom U23 looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Zilina 's players. The best player for the winners was Samuel Solansky who scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Marek Foltin (184-2002) chipped in 24 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was center Ladislav Gergely (204-2005) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Simon Duris (183-1998) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively.
