The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedLevice (27-5) in Nitra on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Blue Wings (23-10) 80-70 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Levice. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Levice 45-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American point guard Jordan Jones (183, college: CCSU) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. His fellow American import forward Tristan Ikpe (198-1999, college: SHSU) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Rickey McGill (188-1997, college: Iona) answered with 18 points and 5 assists and Serbian-Croatian Aleksandar Bursac (205-1995, agency: Starting 5) added 15 points in the effort for Levice. Four Levice players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Blue Wings maintains second place with 23-10 record having three points less than leader Levice. Defending champion Levice still keeps top position with five games lost.
