Regular Season Round 10: Rogaska - Sentjur 72-97

The biggest surprise of round 10 in Liga OTP banka was guestSentjur 's (3-7) easy road victory over 7th ranked Rogaska (2-8) 97-72 on Monday evening. Sentjur had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Swingman Jure Span (193-1995, college: USC Upstate, agency: PEPI SPORT) fired 23 points and 5 assists for the winners. Jan Dornik chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Canadian Yaw Obeng-Mensah (202-2000, college: Niagara) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and American point guard Daishon Knight (185-1991, college: Illinois St.) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Sentjur and four Rogaska players scored in double figures. Rogaska's coach Damjan Novakovic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sentjur moved-up to seventh place. Rogaska lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Hopsi Polzela and Terme Olimia.
