There was no surprise when 10th rankedTerralfas (2-4) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Alcorcon (5-1) 56-41 on Sunday. Alcorcon made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Terralfas turnovers and outrebounded them 43-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Nohemy Ipo fired 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Claudia Del Amo (-2005) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Alcorcon players scored in double figures. Neramou Jeng produced 6 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Gibraltar Marta Perez (-2000) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Alcorcon . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Segle XXI and Picken Claret. Newly promoted Terralfas keeps the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with Almeda and Tenerife.
