There was no surprise when 15th rankedOviedo (4-10) was outleveled on the road by ninth ranked Zamora (7-7) 100-81 on Sunday. Zamora dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Oviedo 's 34. They outrebounded Oviedo 43-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American point guard Jordan Walker (186-1997, college: Morehead St.) notched 25 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Jamaican guard Jahvaughn Powell (183-1996, college: Nicholls, agency: Helping Ballers) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by Argentinian point guard Joaquin Valinotti (185-1998) did not help to save the game for Oviedo . Slovenian point guard Dan Duscak (187-2002) added 13 points and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zamora moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Burgos T. and Obradoiro. Oviedo lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Valladolid.
