The most surprising game was the first loss ofLeganes (13-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Melilla (10-4) 50-49 . It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Leganes. It was a great evening for Canadian Marie Forsyth (185-1999, college: Idaho) who led her team to a victory scoring 8 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Andrea Hernangomez (185-2000, college: Fairfield) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Cristina Soriano (196-1998, college: UMKC) with 10 points and 9 rebounds and Mali forward Aminata Sangare (186-2002) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Melilla have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 10-4 record. Leganes at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost.
