LF Challenge top team -Leganes (15-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventh ranked ISB (10-7) in Azkoitia 73-61 . It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of ISB. They outrebounded ISB 44-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Mali forward Aminata Sangare (186-2002) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds for the winners and guard Lucia Togores (176-1996) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. American-Samoan guard Geraldynn Leaupepe (179-1996, college: Cal Poly) responded with 8 points and 7 rebounds and Argentinian-Italian power forward Victoria Llorente (186-1996) scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leganes maintains first place with 15-1 record. Newly promoted ISB keeps the seventh position with seven games lost.
