There was a small surprise when third rankedManresa B (15-5) defeated at home top-ranked Mollet (16-4) 79-74 on Saturday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Manresa B forced 19 Mollet turnovers. Strangely Mollet outrebounded Manresa B 46-33 including 21 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by Jan Pumarola (204-2006) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Max Gaspa (190-2006) supported him with 11 points and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 18 points and 18 rebounds by forward Ignasi Belver (197-1994) did not help to save the game for Mollet . Center Angel Soto (205-1990) added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Manresa B have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Mollet still keeps top place with four games lost. They share the position with L'Hospitalet.
