There was a minor upset when 5th rankedDos Hermanas (12-9) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Gymnastica (11-10) 92-69 on Friday. Gymnastica outrebounded Dos Hermanas 46-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. Gymnastica looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Dos Hermanas ' players. It was an exceptional evening for forward David Jimenez (197-2004) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Carlos Varela (192-2005) accounted for 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Adrian Doblado (191-2002) came up with 19 points and forward Ignacio Vioque (201) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Dos Hermanas in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gymnastica . They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with La Zubia and Caceres Lith.Ib. Loser Dos Hermanas dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Paterna and Jaen CB.
