Rather predictable result when fifth ranked La Matanza (15-8) edged 7th ranked Guadalajara (12-11) in Las Palmas 75-72 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for forward Romen Hernandez (200-1991) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Saul Ramos (198-2003) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. La Matanza's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
