The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedCaceres (16-9) on the court of fourteenth ranked Algeciras on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Algeciras 81-71 . Serbian center Milos Jankovic (206-1994, agency: Tolakh Tsimur) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and forward Sergio Cecilia (198-2000) chipped in 22 points. Four Algeciras players scored in double figures. At the losing side Montenegrin guard Nikola Rakocevic (192-1991) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Eduard Gatell (206-1989) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Algeciras (9-16) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Zornotza. Caceres at the other side still keeps top position with nine games lost. They share it with Palma Fibwi.
