There was no surprise when 8th rankedGandia (11-14) was defeated at home by first ranked Palma BM (21-2) 83-70 on Saturday. Palma BM shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Angel Comendador (196-2001) fired 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Alessandro Scariolo (190-2001, college: OBU) chipped in 12 points. Palma BM's coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Forward Juanmi Molina (195-2000) produced 12 points and 5 assists and naturalized Cameroonian center Johan Kody (207-1993, agency: Interperformances) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Palma BM have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-2 record. Newly promoted Gandia dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Albacete and Clavijo.
