Coruna defeated Oviedo at home 87-72. Point guard Didac Cuevas (178-2000) scored 16 points to lead the charge for the winners and Senegalese power forward Abdou Thiam (210-1998, agency: Helping Ballers) chipped in 8 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Coruna's coach Carles Marco used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Gregory Parham (193-1999, college: USA) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Oviedo will play next round against Cartagena trying to get back on the winning streak. Coruna will try to continue on its current victory against Menorca on the road.
