Corralejo used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Las Palmas 69-57 on Saturday night. Corralejo forced 19 La Matanza turnovers and outrebounded them 46-25 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Gonzalo Guerra (196-2003, agency: BAGENCY CSA) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American-Nigerian Manny Ogunfolu (201-1989, college: S.Indiana, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five Corralejo players scored in double figures. Power forward Carlos Luis (203-2005) produced 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Czech power forward Jakub Kasa (203-1992) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
