Regular Season Round 1: Dist.Olimpico - Almeda 56-48

Dist.Olimpico used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Barcelona 56-48 on Saturday night. stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Carlota Diaz-Guerra responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Andreea Cojocariu scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dist.Olimpico will meet Andratx on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Almeda will play against Alcorcon and hope to win that game.
