Regular Season Round 2: Valencia - IDK Euskotren 69-54

There was a minor upset when IDK Euskotren was defeated on the road by Valencia 69-54 on Sunday. Valencia looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. scored 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Belgian point guard Hind Ben-Abdelkader (172-1995, college: California) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (192-1997) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and Lithuanian-American Juste Jocyte (186-2005) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Valencia will meet Cadi La Seu in the next round and are hoping to win another game. IDK Euskotren will play against Estepona and hope to win that game.
