Regular Season Round 3: Mataro Parc - Mollerussa 69-86

Very expected game when Mataro Parc (1-2) lost at home to Mollerussa (3-0) 86-69 on Saturday. Mollerussa outrebounded Mataro Parc 51-28 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for center Eric Paradeda (206-2002) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Pol Rios (-2004) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. Mollerussa's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. DR Congolese forward Gloire Goma (196-2003, college: CSUB) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and added 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for Mataro Parc in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mollerussa will meet at home Valls (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Mataro Parc will play against Tarragona and hope to win that game.
