Regular Season Round 3: IDK Euskotren - Estepona 83-60

Rather predictable result when IDK Euskotren (2-1) rolled over Estepona (0-3) in San Sebastian 83-60 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian forward Yvonne Ejim (185-2002, college: Gonzaga) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. accounted for 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four IDK Euskotren players scored in double figures. IDK Euskotren's coach Aranzazu Muguruza felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mozambican power forward Leia Dongue (185-1991) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Mali power forward Sika Kone (190-2002) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Estepona in the defeat. IDK Euskotren will meet Avenida (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Estepona will play against Leganes (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
