There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedSBA (2-2) beat higher ranked Castello (2-2) in Castellon 76-67 on Sunday. SBA dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Castello 's 22. They outrebounded Castello 44-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Serbian forward Djordje Simeunovic (201-1995, agency: Helping Ballers) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 rebounds and Estonian Jaan Puidet (192-1992, agency: Players Group) supported him with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Five SBA players scored in double figures. Even 6 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists by guard Roger Fabrega (186-2005) did not help to save the game for Castello . Cameroonian guard Jacques-Melaine Guemeta (196, college: Ottawa) added 12 points for lost side. Castello's coach Jose Luis Pichel rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SBA moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Castello .
