No shocking result in a game when eighth rankedMurgi (2-2) won against at home bottom-ranked La Zubia (0-3) 110-92 on Sunday. Murgi shot 60.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Ivorian swingman Kehasson Manu Oulai (203-1995, college: Chaffey CC) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Argentinian point guard Alan Moreno (185-1997, agency: BIG) chipped in 28 points. Center Jorge Rodriguez (202-1994) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and added 21 points respectively for lost side. Five Murgi and four La Zubia players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Murgi moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 30 other teams. Loser La Zubia still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams.
