There was a surprise result in Valencia where eighth ranked Jovens (3-2) won against 4th placed Vall D'uixo (3-2) 85-70 on Sunday. Jovens forced 27 Vall D'uixo turnovers. stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Jovens' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. David Arija (192-2002, agency: BAGENCY CSA) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Christopher Witson scored 20 points. Jovens moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 19 other teams including defeated Vall D'uixo. Jovens' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Valencia to the arena Morvedre.
