We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th placedSanfer (5-2) lost to fifth ranked Cortegada (5-2) in Aviles 53-60 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Cristina Loureiro who led the winners and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws). American forward Christabel Ezumah (188, college: Alabama) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Sara Fraile came up with 20 points and added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Sanfer in the defeat. Sanfer's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cortegada moved-up to second place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Sanfer .
