Rather predictable result when fifteenth rankedBreogan Lugo (4-4) rolled over at home 17th ranked Burgos (1-7) 105-78 on Saturday. Rio Breogan made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Burgos SP turnovers. Rio Breogan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American point guard DeWayne Russell (180-1994, college: GCU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 assists and the other American import guard Keandre Cook (194-1997, college: Missouri St.) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Breogan Lugo players scored in double figures. Even 17 points by Panamanian-Puerto Rican point guard Jhivvan Jackson (182-1998, college: UTSA) did not help to save the game for Burgos SP . Brazilian Leonardo Meindl (201-1993) added 11 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rio Breogan moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Burgos SP lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventeenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Granada.
