We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th rankedTelde (4-5) lost at home to ninth ranked Mensajero (4-5) 83-69 on Saturday. Daniel Rodriguez nailed 21 points and 8 assists for the winning side and forward Paulo Rodriguez (201-2000) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds. Arturo Fernandez (193-1995) came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds and added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Telde in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mensajero moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 18 other teams including defeated Telde .
