There was a minor upset when 10th rankedGernika (3-5) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Cadi La Seu (3-5) 75-63 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Shaylee Gonzales (178-2000, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and French Seehia Ridard (188-2002) who added 12 points during the contest. Cadi La Seu's coach Isaac Fernandez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Guyanese forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) responded with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and German forward Emily Bessoir (193-2001, college: UCLA) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Cadi La Seu moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Gernika . Gernika lost third consecutive game.
