Gran Canaria can celebrate finally their first win this season after seven consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Ferrol (3-5) 93-81 on Sunday. Gran Canaria (1-7) left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with Estudiantes. Loser Ferrol keeps the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
