Not a big story in a game when 16th rankedMelilla (2-8) was outscored on the road by sixth ranked Ourense (6-3) 98-75 on Saturday. Ourense forced 20 Melilla turnovers. American guard Gabe Kalscheur (193-1999, college: Iowa St.) notched 21 points to lead the effort and the other American import forward Sean McDonnell (203-1995, college: Westmont, agency: Helping Ballers) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five Ourense players scored in double figures. Ourense's coach Moncho Lopez felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by French center Darel Poirier (207-1997) did not help to save the game for Melilla . American guard Mustapha Heron (196-1997, college: St.John's) added 27 points for lost side. Ourense maintains sixth position with 6-3 record.
