Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedAlcorcon (7-3) defeated at home 10th ranked Genero (4-6) 80-64 on Saturday. Alcorcon forced 23 Genero turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. Lithuanian power forward Dovile Miliauskaite (187-1989, college: Towson) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds to lead the effort and Claudia Del Amo supported her with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Four Alcorcon players scored in double figures. Alcorcon's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by center Yaiza Garcia (190-1988) did not help to save the game for Genero . Iranzu Drake added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Alcorcon moved-up to third place, which they share with Cortegada and Leon. Genero lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Boet Mataro and Manresa.
