No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedTenerife (7-3) defeated on the road 12th ranked Breogan Lugo (4-6) 108-96 . Tenerife shot 63.3 percent from the field and made 18-of-18 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Tenerife shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini (216-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Canadian-Dutch forward Aaron Doornekamp (201-1985, college: Carleton, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Tenerife players scored in double figures. DR Congolese center Jordan Sakho (207-1997) replied with 15 points and American guard Keandre Cook (194-1997, college: Missouri St.) added 14 points in the effort for Rio Breogan. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tenerife moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Joventut and Unicaja. Rio Breogan at the other side dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
