There was no surprise when 10th rankedFuenlabrada (4-6) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Alicante (8-3) 91-86 on Tuesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Alicante made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Danish center Kevin Larsen (208-1993, college: GWU) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Jordan Walker (186-1997, college: Morehead St., agency: Octagon Europe) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Argentinian-Italian guard Mateo Diaz (186-2002) with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Congolese forward Romaric Belemene (202-1997) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Fuenlabrada players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Alicante maintains fourth position with 8-3 record. Fuenlabrada lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with six games lost.
